DMC's Mouliné Satin is an embroidery thread with a very clear sheen and a silky smooth texture, giving each embroidered piece a beautiful shiny finish. This embroidery thread is exceptionally versatile as the thickness of the thread can be adjusted to the desired weight. The six strands separate easily. It is suggested to use one strand for truly fine and detailed embroidery projects or for creating edges for color areas, two or three strands for slightly thicker embroideries, and four, five, or six strands for thicker embroideries. Suitable for all types of embroidery and embroidery fabrics, also ideal for cross-stitch and satin stitch. This embroidery thread is made of 100% rayon, does not fade, and withstands high temperatures in the washing machine, even up to 60ᵒC. DMC Mouliné Satin accommodates 8 meters of thread per strand and is available in a wide range of colors.
